As senior vice president of global communications and CSR at DraftKings, Sabrina Macias leads all consumer-facing, corporate, and internal communications for each of DraftKings verticals.
Since joining the DraftKings team in 2015, Macias has established herself as an impactful industry leader, navigating constant public relations challenges in the newly legalized sports betting industry. Her scope includes sustainability efforts, the company’s philanthropy strategy, responsible gaming communications and advocacy including public affairs and grassroot initiatives. Macias’s work has been highly recognized by PR Week and Cynopsis Sports, and she was recently named a CSR Power Player by PoliticsNY & amNY Metro. She is also a member of the New York Advisory Council for the Hispanic Scholarship Fund.
Prior to joining DraftKings, Macias held leadership positions at NASCAR and Edelman, overseeing various multicultural communications programs. She received her undergraduate degree from York University.
