Marc Guzman is the director of integrated marketing, managing the strategic marketing activation and sports brand partnerships for the Coca-Cola Company in the West. His focus is to lead strategic executive relationships, partnering on acquisition and renewals, and collaborate with the bottling system. Guzman creates customer plans to drive key business objectives while making sure to refresh the world and make a difference.
Guzman was born and raised in Los Angeles. Both of his parents immigrated to this country from Mexico to give their children an opportunity for a better life. His parents focused on the importance of learning, specifically learning through sports. Guzman grew up watching and playing sports, it became a catalyst for him as he experienced the importance of leadership, teamwork and the power of relationships.
Prior to his time at the Coca-Cola company, Guzman spent over a decade working at Verizon in various marketing roles across multicultural, sports partnerships, experiential and go-to-market teams.
Guzman holds a bachelor’s in business management and economics from University of California Santa Cruz, a master’s in communication and leadership studies from Gonzaga University, and an MBA from the Marshall School of Business at USC. In his spare time, he spends quality time with his four nieces and mentors the younger generation of future Latino and LGBTQ+ leaders.
