Earlier this year, LiS™: Latinos in Sports (LiS™) proudly unveiled the inaugural LiS™ Power Players list—recognizing the ten most influential Hispanics in sports.
The list was later featured in Axios, further amplifying the visibility of these remarkable leaders and their impact across the industry.
From elite athletes and league executives to innovators, brand architects, and culture-drivers, this distinguished group reflects the expanding impact of Latinos across professional leagues, global brands, media platforms, and the broader business of sports. Their contributions extend well beyond titles, championships, and quarterly results. They represent leadership at the highest levels, meaningful representation in influential rooms, and a commitment to building pathways for the next generation.
These trailblazers represent different disciplines, backgrounds, and career paths, but they share three defining qualities:
- They achieved excellence at the highest levels of their respective fields.
- Rather than shy away from their Hispanic heritage, they leaned into it—embracing culture as a source of strength and leadership.
- They never forgot where they came from and consistently give back to their communities.
In partnership with the National Football League, LiS™ honored these icons in California ahead of Super Bowl 2026, hosting a celebration of culture the night before the Big Game. The moment marked more than recognition—it underscored the expanding influence of Latinos across leagues, brands, media, and the business of sports.
The LiS™ Power Players list stands for visibility, celebration, and accountability: visibility for talent that has long shaped this industry, celebration of excellence and cultural impact, and accountability to continue advancing equity, access, and opportunity throughout the sports ecosystem.
We congratulate each of our LiS™ Power Players and thank them for leading boldly and opening doors for others to follow.
